Sliding systems
Sliding glass doors, built on a ¾-inch sightline.
An aluminum sliding wall engineered to give you glass and almost nothing else — a central meeting point of three-quarters of an inch, panels up to ten feet tall, and a single opening that can run past forty feet. We fabricate and install the Cortizo COR Vision system ourselves, so one team stays with your project from survey to handover.
The system
Built on the Cortizo COR Vision.
The COR Vision is a thermally broken slider built around a 20 mm (¾″) meeting stile — among the slimmest manufactured anywhere. Where two panels cross you get three-quarters of an inch of aluminum, and then view. From a few feet back the frame stops registering and you are looking at the outside.
It runs on single, double or triple tracks, turns a 90° corner without a structural mullion, and can disappear into a wall pocket so the opening reads as a single sheet of glass. Panels are rated to 705 lb, so wide spans of thick glazing still move with one hand.
Cortizo engineers and extrudes the profiles in Europe. We fabricate them to your exact opening, glaze and assemble each panel in-house, and install and calibrate on site with our own team — no dealer, no separate installer, one point of accountability.

Configurations
Made to your opening.
Every system is built to the wall it goes in — no stock sizes. These are the common sliding arrangements; we will confirm yours on survey.
2-panel
One fixed pane, one sliding
3-panel
Two panes slide behind one fixed
4-panel
Two tracks; the center pair parts and slides out
6-panel
Three tracks; opens from the center, three panels each side
Questions
Sliding glass doors, answered.
The things people ask before they book. Still unsure? Send the opening and we will give you a straight answer.
Do you replace existing sliding patio doors?
Yes — most of our sliding work is replacement. We take out an older aluminum or vinyl patio door and fit a slim-frame COR Vision slider in the same opening, usually without structural changes. We survey the opening, confirm the configuration and glazing in writing, then install with our own team.
How wide can a sliding glass door opening be?
A single COR Vision run can reach roughly 43 feet across up to six panels, and it can turn a 90° corner without a structural mullion. Panels are rated to 705 lb each, so even large spans still slide with one hand.
Are the doors energy efficient?
Yes. A polyamide thermal break and glazing up to 1³⁄₁₆″ give a U-factor of 0.23 (Uw ≥ 1.3 W/m²K), comfortably inside US energy code, with an acoustic reduction of around STC 41.
How much does a sliding glass door cost in Texas?
Every system is priced to the opening — size, number of panels, glazing spec and finish all move the number, so there is no shelf price. Send rough dimensions and a photo, or book a consultation, and you will get a real figure from someone who installs these.
What is the difference between sliding and folding glass doors?
A slider moves panels along tracks and stacks them behind one another or into a wall pocket — the slimmest sightline, with most of the opening usable and an uninterrupted view. A folding door concertinas to one side and clears almost the entire opening. Choose sliding for the view, folding to open the whole wall.
What areas do you serve?
We fabricate and install across Texas, including Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio.
